Watermark was a member of the design team that transformed a rural, wooded lot into the home for a 2,400 square foot, single-story laboratory for wastewater testing for the Jackson County Utility Authority. The lab is pre-engineered steel frame construction, with painted concrete block veneer and a standing seam metal roof. Overall site development included a 600-foot-long entrance drive, a parking lot and the site drainage and landscaping. Special features included coordination of lab equipment, laboratory grade finishes and unique HVAC and controls requirements.
Major project phases included a planning and loan application phase, a study and design phase and a contracting and monitoring phase that included on-site inspection.
